NO REAL DAMAGE
BLENHEIM'S GOOD FORTUNE

BLENHEIM, This Day. Following on .the receipt of offers of assistance to Blenheim sufferers, the Borough Council last evening requested the Press to broadcast the fact that no real damage had been done in Marlborough, and that no financial assistance was required. The Mayor said that Marlborough was fortunate in being able to offer assistance instead of receiving it. The council voted £50 to the West Coast relief fund. The A. and P. Association has contributed £25.
