MAINTENANCE CASES

Maintenance cases in the Magistrate's Court to-day were dealt with by Mr. T. B. M'Neil, S.M. Claude Hall Clarke was sentenced to one month's imprisonment, to be released on payment of the arrears, £3 lls, on an order made in respect of his child. For being £7 5s in arrears on an order made in respect o£ his wife, Ronald Thomas Ferguson, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment, the warrant to bo suspended as long as he pays 27s 6d a week.

The warrant is to bo suspended as long as ho pays £1 a week. Leonard Walter Corlctt was sentenced to one month's imprisonment for being £25 in arrears on an order made in respect of his wife. The warrant is to be suspended as long as he pays 30s a week. Euiil Joseph Dean, sued for the twentyfourth time, according to the- Maintenance Officer, was sentenced to one month's i imprisonment, to bo" released on payment of the arrears, 30s. on an order made in respect of his child. I A sentence of two months' imprisonment ! was imposed on Patrick Egan, who was £12 in arrears on an order made in respect of. his child. The warrant is to bo suspended as long as he pays 30s a week.
