TPIE ENGLISH VISIT A meeting o£ the Management Committee of the Wellington Cawh Tennis Pro"Vincial Association was held last evening, the following being present:—Messrs. Swinburne (in tho chair), Dawson, Kelly, Harbison, Penlington, Burns, Heed, Baigent, and Popo (hou. sec.). The appointment of Mr. H, P. Vaneyas permanent caretaker of ■■ the ". Miramar courts, was confirmed.-; He will be in attendance six days of the-week,' including Saturdays and Sundays, and at the pavilion three nights of the 'veek if required. Permission was granted to several schools and colleges to use the courts under certain conditions. ' Dr. Park notified his acceptance of the position as sole selector for the forthcoming match between Wellington and the English team. In connection with this match, if it is spread Vwer two days, one court only will be in use, but two if the match is only for one day. The number of games to be played will be decided after consultation with the visitors. A subcommittee was appointed to deal with, j the advertising of the match.
