Among the hundreds of rare Bibles offered to Dr. lioser.baeh, the famous American book collector, each year there is one type which blooms eternal—the bul-lot-hoio Bible; the Bible which "saved grandpa's life in the Civil War or the Revolution." The bullet-hole Bible has become such an old story that every time Dr. Roseubach hears a shot ii red lie thinks it is someone aiming at tlio family Scriptures in the backyard.
