NEW ZEALAND'S GOODWILL^ EEPLY FROM MR.. BRUCE \ The following cablegram has Veen received by; tiie Prime Minister (the Eight Hon. J. G. Coates) from.the Eight Hon. S. M. Bruce (Prime Minister of Australia): — "On behalf of my Government and the people of Australia, I desire to express to you, your Government, and the people of New Zealand, our warm appreciation and thanks for the encouraging messages received in connection with the momentous flight of Kingsford Smith and his companions. These messages again demonstrate tho Reeling of brotherhood, goodwill, and understanding which exists between the people of Australia and "New Zealand. We are still animated by the same common ideals anrl aspirations that were a pleasing feature of our association during the dark days of war, and we are mutually stirred by pride at the achievement of our sons." ■ ■
