EXPENDITURE IN RIDINGS Tho following general rates are to be levied in the various ridings of the Hutt County Council:—Epuni, 1 40-100 din the £1; Hcretaunga, 1 11-100 d; Horokiwi, Id; Mungaroa, 1 47-100 d; Taupo, 1 46-100 d; Waintii-o-Mata, 1 40-100 d; Whareroa, 1 49-100 d. y . The table below shows the proposed expenditure in the ridings for 1928-29, and also the expenditure and revenue for last year:—
The Paekakariki water rates have been reduced from 67-100 d to 35-100 d, and. the County Clerk (Mr. A. J." MacPhcrson) also announces that No. 22 special rate over the Plimmerton township has beeu reduced from 10-100 dto 2-100 d.
