ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION
The inaugurating public meeting of the Association for the Advancement of Education will be held in the Young Women's Christian Association's Hall, Boulcott street, on Tuesday evening, 20tb September, at 8 o'clock. Speakers, representing university teacherß, primary school teachers, secondary school teachers, technical school teachers, the School Committees' Association, and the W.E.A., will explain the scope and objects of the association, after which officers will be elected for the ensuing year. The Mayor (Mr. G. A. Troup) will preside.
