RIFLE SHOOTING
UNIVERSITY CLUB
The annual general meeting o£ the University Kifle Club was held at Victoria College on Thursday evening, there being a large attendance of old and new members present. The annual report showed that the club was second in the Imperial Universities' match fired last March, the winners being Sydney University. Mr. G. Parker had the honour of winning the Army championship, and he also recorded the highest individual score in the interuniversity competition for the Haslam Shield. ■ The prospects for the coming season are particularly bright. The office bearers for thiß year are: Patron, Professor P. P. Wilson; vice-patrona, Professor Adamson, Colonel R. St. J. Beere, Messrs. A. Fair, 6. G. G. Watson, and A. M. Cousuib; president, .Mr. W. T. H. Haase; deputy-president, Mr. H. Y. Scott; secretary and treasurer, Mr, C. Wylie; committee, officers ex-officio, and Messrs. G. Parker and C. Bollard; delegates to W.R.A.,, Messrs. Haase and Parker; delegates to Trentham Rifle Range Committee, Messrs. Haase and Scott.
