SYDNEY, Thia Day. Over four hundred engineers in the metal trades industry are on strike in. conformity with the'" decision of the Amalgamated Engineering Union regarding the piecework provisions of Judge. Beeby's award.
A settlement has been reached in the dispute at the works of the Automatic Totalisators Company, and the men will resume work to-day. . '
