ADELAIDE, This Day. A deputation of unemployed Maltese immigrants waited on the Premier, ,Mr. Butler, and complained that their dolo of ,10s Cda week, had been stopped. They said that many of them were returned soldiers, and they . did not want charity but work. At lea«t a hundred Maltese were described as destitue, and as having no money and little clothing.- .
' Mr. Butler, in reply, said that the Government had decided to discontinue the dole, which had been, granted by tho previous Government. In order to place all unemployed on the same level the Government had resolved that the Maltose should be enabled to regist«r at the Government Labour Bureau. Therefore they now had the same rights as Australians.
