LARGE NEW ZEALAND PARTY

Mr. G. O. Sutton, secretary, Now Zealand Golf Association, yesterday received the following cablegram from Mr. W. A. Windeycr, a member of the Now South Wales Golf Council:— "Splendid mooting, all clubs being represented, hold at Hotol Australia, Sir John Vicars presiding, elected Committee to arrange entertainment of your players. Royal Sydney Golf Club can accommodate six." ■ The following seven Now Zealand competitors have entered for the Now South Wales Championship Foursome (-itli June), the Royal Sydney Cup (6th June), and the New South Wales Amateur Championship, for which the qualifying rounds are played on Saturday, 11th. June, and match played the following week:-—A. D. S. Duncan, Dr. Kenneth Ross, Ewaii Mae.farlane, T. 11. Hortou, Leo. Quin, J. S. Harrison, R. O. Gardner. In addition to the abovementioned competitors in the championship there will bo a party of at least twelve going over. From the first five meutioned in the above list a team of four will be selected after a few days' practice in Sydney, to represent New Zealand in tho competition for the Kirk-Windoyer Cup against whichever Australian State has in the meantime earned the right to play for it; as between the Australian States the right to play will be decided by eliminating matches. The Kirlc-Windeyer Cup will be played for on Wednesday and Thursday, Bth and 9th June, four ball matches and single.
