OTAGO ANNUAL MEETING

DUNEDIN, 12th May. ; The annual meeting of the Otago Rugby Football League was lfeld to-night, the annual meeting held in March having been declared informal. Mr. A. J. Rice was elected president, defeating Mr. T. M. Gillies by two votes. An excellent spirit prevailed at the meeting, and it appears as if the disagreement is a thing of the past. 'The new president, in taking the chair, asked members to work together for the good of the code and allow League to take its proper placo as one of the most enjoyable football games.
