HUGH WRIGHT CUP

The first of a series of inter-club social fours bowling matches were played at Ihe Wellington's Club's green yesterday. The opposing rinks were from the Wellesley Club and the Working Men's Club, the' holders of the Hugh Wright trophy, which was being competed for. Both matches played were won by the latter clilb's rinks. The results are: Working Men's Club (W. J. Smith, Mapplebeck, J. A. Coiider, A. D. Duff), 28; Wellesley Club (B. Golflnch, A. Erskine, V. Mills, H. Thompson), 18. Working Men's Club (C. Nixon, W. Garnham, J. Gordon, T. Lock), 27; Wellesley Club (A. Markman, A. James, B. Hall, Neil M'Lean), 20.
