INSANE CHINESE

DUNEDIN, This Day. The criminal sittings opened "this morning. King Chong, aged 77, was charged with attempted murder of another Chinese, and was acquitted on the ground of insanity. The men were inmates of a benevolent institution, and the accused stabbed his countryman in the face with a knife. The Judge ordered that the accused should be kept in custody until the pleasure of the Minister of Justice was jtnown.
