ARRIVES ON HOLIDAY

. AUCKLAND, This Day. Dr. E. A. Mills, (formerly of Auckland), who is Director of Laboratories to the Irak Government, arrived by the lonic for six weeks' holiday. He will travel to London via Vancouver, and will represent Irak at the conference at the Pasteur Institute, Paris. Dr. Mills travelled to London from Bagdad by land in the amazingly short time of nine days, utilising the Nairn transport for the 800 miles of desert from Bagdad to Beirut.
• This company is the fr_uit of the enterprise of Jack and Norman Nairn, who served w.ith the New Zealand Forces in Palestine. Their motor service covers this long journey in 36 hours, as compared with four and a half weeks in the old days of camel caravans.
