The Department of Health has received the following notifications of infectious disease in the Wellington health district for the week ended yesterday (the figures for the previous Beven days being shown in parentheses):— Taranaki-Horowhenua. —Scarlet fever, 7 (2); diphtheria, 111 (9); pneumonia, 3 (3); pneumonic influenza, 1 (0); erysipelas, 1 (0); puerperal fever, 0 (2). Wairarapa-East Cape.—Scarlet fever, 2 (D); diphtheria, 3 (5); enteric fever, 5 (4); tuberculosis, 1 (2); pneumonia, 3 (5); cerebro-spinal meningitis, 1 (0); erysipelas, 0 (1). Central Wellington.—Scarlet fever, 7 (6); diphtheria, 5 (2); tuberculosis, 2 (0); pneumonia, 2 (0)j puerperal fever, 1 (0); erysipelas, 0 (2). Nelson-Marlborough.—Scarlet fever, 3 (1); diphtheria, 1 (0); pneumonic influenza, 1 (0).
