SHIPMENTS OF MEAT FROM SOUTH AMERICA.
Tho Now Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received a cablegram from Its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising tho following shipments to the United Kingdom for tho fortnight ended 2nd September, 1926 from Argentine and Uruguay:—22o,399 quarters chilled beef; 9508 quarters frozen beef; 31,101 carcasses frozen mutton; 30,156 carcasses frozen lamb.
"The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period totalled: 103,450 quarters frozen beef; 1420 carca.es frozen mutton."
