SUBMARINES FOR SOVIET
ALLEGED GERMAN VIOLATION OP TREATY.

LONDON, 25th August.
The Paris correspondent of th« "Daily Mail" reports that allegation! that Germany has secretly supplied Bussia with eight submarines in violation of the Versailles Treaty are being investigated by the British and French Admiralities. It is reported that the submarines are cruising within a'radial of 8000 miles, and that Germany, who undertook to scrap them, is also sending workmen to build otKers in Soviet dockyards.
