LICENSING BILL
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 26th August.
The Moderator of tho Presbyterian Church of New Zealand has telegraphed to the Prime Minister to-day as follows:—"The Licensing Bill contains no reform. The Church protests against the extension of time between the licensing polls or any increase of licenses. It demands either a twoissue ballot paper or a decision for the issue having the highe3t number of votes."
