"BRIGHTER GREYMOUTH"
CELEBRATIONS ON WEST COAST.
(By Telegraph.—Presa Association.) GREYMOUTH, 2Cth August.
The "Brighter Greymouth" festivities were continued last evening, when the Mayor (Mr. W. H. Pnriitt) presided over a largo meeting, which was addressed by Mr. W. P. Grooko (Auckland), Dominion supervisor of Oddfellows. It was resolved to establish tho "Brighter Greymouth Lodge," 1.0.03 1., with 50 members on 13th September, when a pujilic installation of officers will be held. Messrs. G. ft. Black, P.G., and G. D. Smart were elected the first president and secretary. This evening a "Brighter Greymouth Hovue" was staged by local amateurs before a largo crowd at the Opera House, and a grand ball crowded tho Town Hall.
