TO-DAY'S RESULTS.

The - Competitions were continued this morning with a well sustained interest on the part of the public, and the following awards were made:—

Piano Solo, 13 and under la, Wellington Competitions Society's scholarship; own selection:—Recalls, Miss Thelma Willoughby (Wellington), Miss Marjorie Alexander (Chriatchureh), Miss Molloy Withers (Wadestown); highly commended, Master Allan Ballantyne (Wellington). Soprano Solo, "Home Thoughts" (key I) flat).—Recalls, Miss Jeanette Briggs (Hataitai), Miss Ailsa Nichol (Belmont), Miss Amy Eaton (Wanganui); highly commended, Mrs. Tarrant (Wanganui). Reading at Sight, girls under 16.— Miss Marion Brock (Wanganui), 84 points, lj Miss Joan Hughes (Christchureh), 78 points, 2; Miss Kathleen Bartosh (Lower Hutt), 77 points, 3. Highly commended: Miss Joyce Dinnison (Wellington), Miss Gracie Kerr ('Wellington), Miss Joan Maunder (Wellington). A feature of the Competitions tomorrow will be the matinee, both in the Concert Chamber and in the Town Hall, when all the items will be given by the talented child competitors.
