GRAPH POLES.
A case described as the first of its kind heard in the Wellington Magistrate 's Court came beforo Mr. E. Page, S.M., this morning, when Harold Thomas was charged with affixing an advertisement from a newspaper to a telegraph pole in Featherston street. Sub-Inspector Harvey ssiid that tJe pole had been used regularly as a kind of hoarding. "This practice is against the law and must be stopped," said the Magistrate in fining Thomas SI.
