LODGE MEETING
A.D. Bio. Rowarth presided over a Rood muster of members of Pacific Lodgi'-, U.A.O.D. Three candidates were initiated. The D.P., Bro. Clarke, installed the following officers for the current term:— A.D., Bro. Smith; 1.P.A., Bro, Rowarth: P.A., Bro. A. W. Smith; treasurer, Bio. Binnie; 1.G., Bro. Cooper; 0.G., Bro. 'Howard; A.D.B.'s, Bros. F. Hearn and Haley; V.A.D.B.'s, Bros. Dunne and Avis; mm. secretary .and Press corrcs-. pondent. Bro. W. J.Y-earn; organist,' Bro. Keeeh; R.A.C. delegates, Bros. Barly and Beaumont; M.C., Bro. Johnstone; ritual coach, Bro. Rowlands; stewards, Bros. Keeeh, Binder, Mawhinney, Avis, and Howard. The meeting held on Monday last was opened by A.D. Bro. Smith. After ordinary business was dealt with D.P. Bro. Clark presented Bro. Howard with his P.A. collar and diploma, when lodge business was adjourned and the lodge handed over to the R.A.C. for the purpose of installing their officers. The installation, ceremony was carried out by G.P.D.P., P.R.A.D. Bro. Hargreaves. At the conclusion a very enjoyable evening was spent, various brothers giving items which were greatly appreciated. Official visits were paid by the D.P.,- R. A. C. Mewburn, Excelsior', Melrose, Pride of Brooklyn, Island Bay, Coronation, Holly, and Poneke Lodges.
