{Reuters Telegram.) LONDON, sth May. Owing to rain this morning, there was no play in the match between the Australians and Esses, which is to take place at Leyton. The following are the teams: — Essex. —P. Perrin, J. Freeman, J. O'Connor, A. C. Russell, Claud T. Ashton, M. S. Nicholls, A. B. Hipkin, L. C. Eastman, H. J. Palmer, J. A. Cutmore, and another not yet selected. Morris, who originally completed the Essex team, has been commandeered by the War Office. Australia.—H. L. Collins, W. H. Ponsford, J. M. Gregory, J. M. Taylor, C. G. Macartney, T. J. E. Andrews, C. G. Mailey, H. L. He'ndry, W. M. Woodfull, A. J. Richardson, and J. L. Ellis.
