INTERNATIONAL VAUDEVILLE.
The box plans for the season of international vaudeville at the Grand Opera House, which commences to-morrow, are rapidly filling. Pride of place in a bill comprised entirely of imported acts from tho world's leading theatres, specially chosen by J. C. Williamson's representatives, is given to Niobe, mermaid and water nymph, who does the most astounding things while fully submerged in her crystal acquarium on the stage. _ A perfect example of physical perfection, this attractive young American swimmer will undoubtedly prove a great source of interest tc admirers of athletic prowess and physical culture. Great interest also attaches to the first appearance here of the clever London comedian, Rupert Hazell, who, assisted by charming Elsie Day, has been making Sydney and Melbourne laugh for the past two months. From the London Coliseum come the Flemings, two young Junos who excel in remarkable athletic feats and striking poses. Walter Nilsson, the world's champion unicyclist, will give a perilous, and thrilling display on his extraordinary machines. With her piano-accordion and her beauty, dainty Dorothy Browne will surely charm the hearts of Dominion playgoers with her operatic and jazz selections. The dashing Welsh entertainers, Jones and Raines, are certain of a warm reception, and a sensational performance is furnished by Francois. A charming Parisian from the Montmartre is Odette Delage, the Apache violinist. Madame Harmston and her big troupe of educated cockatoos, the world's greatest bird novelty, will fill the stage with her marvellous feathered pets. The box plans are at The Bristol.
