FLOOD IN GREY RIVER

GREYMOUTH, This Day.
Flood waters in the Grey River carried away a pier and two spans of the Blackball end of the BlackballNgahere Bridge. Traffic is not likely to be resumed for at least three weeks. The mishap happened early this morning.
