ANNUAL CONFERENCE OPENED.
(By Tele^raph.-Press Association.) ' ,» INVEKCAEGILL, This Day. The annual conference of tho Associated Churches' of Christ opened under the presidency of Mr. George Day. Officers were elected as follows: —President, Mr. T. Pryde Inveroargill); Vice-president, Mr. W. J. MaaOn; secretary, Mr. W. G. Carpenter; treasurer, Mr. M. Mitchell (all of Wellington); 'committee, Messrs. G. Day (Ladbi'ooks), F. V. Knapp (Nel* Son),, A. W. Stephenson- (Christchurch), G. P. Cuttriss. (Dunedih), .A. A. Creamer (Auckland), and H. Grinstead (Palmerstoli North). Advisory boards were also appointed at Christehureh and Auckland, It was' resolved that the 1927 Easter conference bo held at Auckland; .
