AUCKLAND SUPREME COURT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) I AUCKLAND, 10th February. Prisoners were sentenced at the Supreme Court to-day as follows:— Richard Pearson, illegal use of an instrument, twelve months' reformative treatment;' Sana Fakn Kara, found guilty of forgery after two trials, twelve months imprisonment; William Lowe, forgery, two years probation and to make restitution; Whitu Slade, forgery, eighteen months' imprisonment; Oscar Bruce Hura Whyte, theft, forgery, and uttering, twelve months' reformative detention; George Mitchell Geddis Gome, theft, nine months' imprisonment, concurrent with the present sentence for a similar offence; Walter Cowan, carnal knowledge of a girl under 16, to come up for sentence if called on. Accused is married with a wife in England, and is of good character. His ship sails on 25th February. ••
