A telegram from St. Augustine, Florida, says that three world's records were broken at the women's national amateur swimming championships.

Eleanor Garatti, California, defended the national title successfully in the 50 yards free style, setting a world's record of 27 l-ssec.

Agnes Geraghty, New York, broke the world's record for 50 yards breast stroke, her time being 35 3-ssec The previous mark was 37 l-ssec Martha Norelina, New York, won the 250 yards free style in 3mia 9 l-ssec, a world's record.
