BISHOP TAYLOR SMITH

After nearly twenty-five years' service as Chaplain-General of the British Imperial Forces, Bishop John Taylor Smith has retired. But. he at once plunged into other activities, and has. been visiting, Australia and New Zealand in the interests of the Church Missionary Society. Bishop Taylor Smith's stay in Wellington is limited to ono night, Tuesday next, but he has consented to give an address on that evening, on "Life and Its Opportunities." The Bishop, though not kiiown generally to people on thia side of the world, has been for years one of the most outstanding figures in the work of the Church among men.
