Tho Wellington City Empowering pill was reported from the Local i;iIJH Committee without amendment.
The Animals Protection Amendment Bill of tho Hon. Sir Thomas Mackenzie, which proposes to deprivo tho Governor-General of the right, to remove any animal from tho protected list, was introduced and read the iirst time.
The Chattels Transfer Amendment Bill, which rectifies a defect in the .■(mending Act of last session, was put through its final stages and passed.
The Council adjourned until to day.
