WAIHI, This Day.: A motor-car, vrith the driver and tjrojpassengers, travelling from Paeroa to, Tauranga, plunged over a temporary, structure over the Waitete Creek on the. Waihi-Paeroa road last night. The vehicle somersaulted twice, finally settU ing on its side in the bed of the creek. Bft below. • .' ■*
The occupants were imprisoned' owing to the hood flattening on top of them. After a desperate struggle they tore the curtains away, through which they scrambled into the icy waters of -the creek.
AIL threo suffered from shock and bruises, the condition pf one, Bagley, being such as necessitated his admission' to hospital for treatment. . '"...'.".■
