RUGBY LEAGUE
The Management Committee of the Wellington Rugby League met last evening, Mr. H. Aird presiding. It was decided that a trial" match. Wellington, v. Manawatu, lie .played at Foxton on 13th June in view of the approaching Australian tour.
On the resignation of Mr. Stevens, Mr. Wrack was selected as a senior selector in Mr. Stevens's stead. Mr. Swan was accepted as a delegate for the Newtown Club.
Mi-.. Coulter was appointed manager for the team to play against Manawatu on 13th June.
Following Mr. L. Pi-ice's' resignation from the chair. Mr. Tunhny, late of Chrisichnrch. was nominated for the vacant position.
It was decided that n form of team slip be printed und issued to (lie various clubs. Each I cam as it takes the field must hand one to tin; referee, who in turn will forward il, to the secretary of tho Wellington l.'imbv League.
