REGRET AT DELAYS
AUSTRALIAN PRESS UNION COMMENT.
(DKITED PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPXEIGHT) SYDNEY, 21st May. At the annual meeting of the Australian section of the Empire Press Union, the report expressed grave dissatisfaction at the existing state of affairs in regard to commercial wireless communication between Australia and the other parts of the Empire.. It was pointed out that no information was available as to when, the erection of beam stations between Australia, Britain, and Canada would be taken in hand. Satisfaction was expressed at the recent reduction in lress cable rates between-Australia and Uritain.
Regarding the forthcoming ImperialPies* Conference, it was reported that the organisation of the conference and Pr°Sran»ne for delegates were in fi3.nu*
