AUSTRALIAN DAIRY CONTROL
Representatives of the dairying' industry of Victoria have been discussing the Dairy Produce Export Control Bill with a view to advisirig"the position that: fanners should take regarding it. It is understood that the Bill will be supported by both proprietary and cooperative interests. It was indicated recently that, as the proposals of Mr. . Patersbn, M.H.E., had been rejected by the Ministry, efforts would be mads to establish them voluntarily. As fur as Victoria is concerned, it is generally - conceded that the proposals will he ap- . proved. Other States will be Approached to fall into line, and it is hoped bj leaders of- the industry here • that the - scheme will be supported throughout the Commonwealth. Queensland has rejected the Dairy Produce Export Control Act in its present form.
