JOHNSONVILLE CONCERT.
tvT vefy successful concert was held at JohnsonvUle, in Moore's Hall o, Thursday evening, in a id of the Presbyterian Manse Building Fund In spite of the inclement weather^ there "as a record attendance. Every item was enthusiastically received, and encores were insistent. The concert, which was chiefly Scottish in character, was opened with a selection on the bagpipes yn PC!i Stuart Gamei°»- Songs were well rendered by Mrs. Scott Allen, Mrs. 1 ait Miss Dunnett, and Mr. D Ho H g Mr. P. S. Isbister and Master C. Stewart (a juvenile Harry Lauder) provided great enjoyment with humorous items:' Aiiss Whitehouse gave a musical monologue and recitation. Miss Dunnett's recitations were greatly appreciated, and selections of Scottish airs were given by Mr. D. M'Lennon (violinist). Scottish dances were performed by Misses Seamen, Needham, and ,T. and K. Taylor, who also danced together in an internytional reel.
