SAVAGE CLUB ORCHESTRA.
The Savage Club's orchestral recital to-morrow evening in the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, is being looked forward to with much interest by the music-loving public of Wellington. The high reputation deservedly earned by this orchestra under its very able conductor, Mr. Frank Thomas, "is such that a full house is assured. The recital will be under Vice-Regal patronage The programme is a varied one, and the items will include the overture to "Rnvmond'^ (A. Thomas), Haydn's • "Surprise, - Symphony items from Tschaikowsky s "Nutcracker" Suite, and Coleridge Taylor's "Hiawatha" Ballett Muse, besides lighter numbers such as Trn 66 .V£ Llante" Poldini > and J.irnegeldts "Praeludium."
