OFFICERS DISSATISFIED WITH BOARD.
The following circular letter has been forwarded to members of Parliament by the Wellington section secretary, Mr."' j BelTy ' of the New Zealand Posfand Telegra-ph Officers' Association,:— - "I am directed to" bring under your notice, the following resolution carried at a monster meeting of Post- and Tele-" graph officers: 'That this meeting of the Wellington section, New Zealand Post and Telegraph Officers' Association," enters its must emphatic protest against ■aaboard, upon which it is entirely unrepresented, determining P. • and T. officers' salaries for the ensuing five-yearly ' period, and demands the right"-'to'TiSvS'" its representatives heard before-that"~ board, or, failing this,- a--reconstructed— Wages Board, fully representative.-ot—. the whole Public Service,' .„'.:■ "In short, we ask that our-wages bo determined only by a board fully cog- . nisant of our service iconditions. Our moinhers aro rightly indignant, at.the idea of a Railway. Wages "Board, which. can know little of the vastly different ": conditions of the P. and T.
