LONDON DAIRY PRODUCE MARKET.
The Bank of New Zealand, -Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London office, under date 15th March:—"Butter.—Very slow.. 170s to 172s per cwt. Cheese.—Slow. Sis to SGs per cwt.." The National i Dairy Association of KenZealand, ' Ltd:, has received the following cable from it's London office, dated 1-itH March.-V'Butter and cheese weak and iuacUve. Butter.—New. Zealand, unsalted 1725, salted 170s; Australian, salted 151s to MillsArgentine, salted K4s to 150s; Danish, malted 2145. Cheese.—Ne-* Zealand, white Sis, coloured SGs."
Wire stronger than steel has been made out of rock salt, according to the claim ot a Russian scientist.
