Les Murray, holder of the Xew Zealand lightweight boxing championship, returned to 'Wellington to-day by the Marama. While in Sydney he took part in two contests, winning the first through the disqualification of his American opponent, Earl France, in the sixth round, and being technically knocked out in his second and linal bout by Archie IJradley. who the local man .-igreed to meet at very short notice in'substitution for Louis Pli-cs.
The mails which left Auckland on 12th February, via Vancouver, arrived in London on the 15th inst.
