LOANS FOR DOMINIONS
MATTER' FOR'BRITISH PARLIAMENT.
When he arrived in Wellington this afternoon, the Prime Minister (the Right Hon. W. F. Massey)- was asked whether any finality had been reached upon the proposals made at the Economic Conference that loans for developmental purposes should be made to the Dominions which would, in return, order the plant and necessary material in Britain. "That is one of the matters which will have to go before the British Parliament," replied Mr. Massey. "But lam not so sanguine about that a a I am about the other things.
