On Anniversary Day, return matches between Eastbourne Club and Lower Hutt were played on the Hutt green. TEe following teams represented Eastbourne: • . Second round: Munro 12, Dempsey 20; Johns 19, Dudley 11; Levi 17, Yatas 14; Locke 14, Jones 14. Third round: Johns 11, Dempsey 18; Levi 15, Dudley 15; Locke 20,'Yates 13; Munro 8, Jones 16. Lower Hutt won the aggregate by 16 points,- Eastbourne scoring 189 points, and Lower Hutt 205.
