PUBLIC SERVICE TOURNEY
Arrangements have been made for the folding, of the Public Service Bowling lournament on Thursday, 7th February. Play will, this year, be on the greens of Jie Thorndon and Hataitai Bowling Clubs, and it is proposed to play five games' of 13 heads each, instead of three games of 21 heads as usual. There will probably, therefore, be no byes, and al •he close of the day only the winners sf four sections will remain in the competition. It is also hoped to make the tournament more of a social function than hitherto. Many entries have been received, and it is anticipated that there vill be keen" competition. ,
