GOOD SCORE BY HUTT.

Batting first in their match with Wellington, on the Hutt Recreation Ground, Hutt compiled a total of 234 runs, the main scorers being M'Kay and M'Girr. The latter just missed another century by the small margin of three runs. The wicket was in good order, and the bowling was never of the really dangerous variety, although Good troubled the batsmen at times. M'Girr played a forceful innings, but should have been out when lie. had six to his credit. He weakly returned a ball to Napier, but the Irundler failed to hold it. Wellington, went to the crease at 5.45 o'clock, and,at stumps had lost one wicket for 39, the riot-cut men being Hiddleston and White. Wilson was dismissed lbw to Watson when his total was 18.
