(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.) • ;• (Received Ist November, 9 a.m.) I ' _ n •■ SYDNEY, This Day. ihe Congregational Union Public Mor- | als Committee, after an exhaustive inspection of picture shows, has reported that it found very few to which exception could be taken. ■ The committee strongly condemned the gambling evil. It declared that £20,I 000,000 was annually spent in Australia on horse-racing. It would be difficult to deny the fact that every second Australian was a gambler in some form. The Congregational Union has decided to take steps to organise a fund of £6000 to start a secondary school. Ultij mately it is hoped to raise £12 000. ■
