DICTATORIAL POWERS
DRASTIC MEASURES EXPECTED,
LONDON, 14th October. The Exchange Agency's Berlin cor respondent writes:—
Cabinet now possesses dictatorial powers. It is expected that the Reichstag will be indefinitely adjourned, after, perhaps, one meeting next week. , The Cabinet on Monday will discuss the new currency and other problems.
The work of reconstruction of Gerhiany will immediately commence. Drastic measures are expected, dealing first with profiteers and unemployment. It is anticipated that the dismissal of workmen will be prohibited.
