CHRISTCHTJRCH, This Day. Mr. Justice Fra*ei\, during the hearing of an appeal concerning-- the payment of wages for Anzac Day, said that industrial confusion was too high a price to pay for sentiment. This; however, Was only his opinion, as the law of the land decreed otherwise. Hourly workers lost a day's wages on Anzac Day, but weekly workers suffered no deduction. The position would not.be improved until Anzac Day was observed on nearest Sunday 1
