LOST BUSINESS
AUSTRALIA IMPORTS COAL.

SYDNEY. This Day. As the result of the coal disputes in the Northern fields during June, orders for large tonnages of coal have been placed in the Tyne district, and freights have beeii obtained at 25s per ton for Adelaide and Melbourne. It is understood that at least eight car-goes of coal aggregating 40,000 tons, are en route to Australia. Cargoes are also bein^ shipped to Java. Recently vessels have sailed, from Newcastle to Java without any coal shipments.
