A car - driven by the agent for the.Gane Milking Machine Company carried away a considerable portion of a fence nnd-crashed SO feet in a straight drop to the river below. The man was'badly hurt, and was taken to the.Palmerston'North Hospital. The. cause of the accident is a mystery, but was probably the result of a collision with another" car.
