VERDICT OF NOT GUILTY ; fc-ETUBNED. (IT TELIGRAH.—PRESS AEIOCIATUK.) DUNEDIN, This Day. At the Supreme Court, the trial of James Proctor Nicholson, who was charged with obtaining money by false fretences from the Tapanui Racing Club y representing a trotting mare named Dora Derby to be a. trotting: mare called Traylace, and with conspiring to defraud the Tapanui Club and other clubs by the same alleged pretence, was continued to-day. The jury, after- a retire-. ment of half an hour, brought in a verdict of not guilty.
